01 / ASSESSMENT & RPL

FOR RTOs, EMPLOYERS & CONTRACTORS

Keep the evidence
moving forward.

The right support behind every evidence pack.

We help organise evidence, follow up gaps and prepare records. Contract assessment and RPL judgements can be provided through an engaging RTO once the arrangement and relevant requirements are approved.

ASSESSOR CREDENTIALTAESS00019

Assessor Skill Set

Working within the right framework.

TAESS00019 meets the assessment-only credential requirement, including making assessment judgements. Contract RPL assessment can be undertaken within an engaging RTO’s assessment system once credentials, vocational competency, current industry and assessment skills, unit-specific assessor requirements and the unit scope are approved.

The credential does not by itself authorise every unit or training delivery. Unit-specific assessment conditions, practical observation and applicable licensing requirements must be met.

GOOD TO KNOW

A few useful details.

Can every assessment be completed remotely?

No. Remote methods must meet the requirements of each unit and the engaging RTO’s assessment system. Where practical observation is required, suitable arrangements must be agreed.

Can Zeus make RPL assessment judgements?

Yes, through an agreed RTO engagement for units where the assessor meets vocational competency, currency and unit-specific requirements. TAESS00019 is an assessment-only credential that includes making assessment judgements. See ASQA’s credential guidance.

Does Zeus issue qualifications?

No. Zeus is not an RTO and cannot issue nationally recognised qualifications or statements of attainment. Assessment and RPL decisions operate within the engaging RTO’s assessment system; that RTO issues any certification.

What should a relief coverage brief include?

Include the site, roles, equipment, dates and site requirements. Relief coverage is day shift only and is subject to availability and verification before mobilisation.
